3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trek ending in Kigali

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park

You will be picked up from an agreed location or your hotel in Kampala and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park with a stopover at the equator for the experiment and photos and another stopover in Mbarara city for lunch arriving Bwindi in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge

 Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Have your breakfast at 6:00am, get your packed lunch, carry enough drinking water and proceed to the briefing point for registration and join others for briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00am. After briefing, you will start your gorilla trekking journey in the company of ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.

However, the guides will try to find them from where they were last seen during the previous day’s trek! Once you see them, you will spend 1 hour with these gentle giants and later return to your lodge to refresh and relax. In the evening, you can do an optional community tour around Bwindi for a Uganda cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali & Fly out
Breakfast will be served early and embark on your journey to Rwanda’s Kigali crossing through Katuna boarder and arriving Kigali city in the mid-morning hours. Depending on your flight schedule, you can do a tour of the city visiting Kaplaki crafts village, Gisozi genocide memorial and have lunch at the prestigious Mille Collines Hotel.

Later transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
